For Students
I welcome inquiries from students interested in writing their thesis on topics related to political communication, media and democracy, press freedom, disinformation, or public policy in Mexico and Latin America. If you are considering working with me, please send me a brief description of your research question and academic background to maria.salazar@ibero.mx.
I teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with courses that connect political science theory, research methods, and the study of media and public policy. My approach emphasizes critical thinking, empirical analysis, and the application of social science tools to real-world problems in Mexico and Latin America.
